The Onconavigator program, Sovcombank's Good Technologies project and the TWIN company summarize the work of the Prosvet chatbot, which provides comprehensive information assistance to cancer patients and their loved ones. It was launched in September 2025, and in less than six months more than 73 thousand people used it.

As of 2026, over 4.2 million patients with cancer are registered in Russia. Every year, more than 600 thousand people are diagnosed with cancer for the first time. Moreover, the concepts of “cancer” or “malignant tumor” combine more than 100 different diseases. Each case is unique and requires an individual approach to treatment.

To support such patients, the Onconavigator program was created. Today on her website there are 40 roadmaps dedicated to the treatment of different types of cancer. All information on the site has been verified and approved by leading Russian oncologists. Here are answers to the main questions of people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones – how to diagnose and treat different types of cancer, how to recover after treatment and operations. More than 15 million people throughout Russia and the CIS have already used Onconavigator materials.

“When a person is diagnosed with cancer, he knows nothing about the disease, about treatment, or about his prospects. This uncertainty creates additional stress that can be avoided by giving the person a little more knowledge about their disease. Our goal is to provide people diagnosed with cancer with verified and medically safe information. This will help you make the right decision about building the treatment process, get rid of uncertainty and reduce stress levels. Another goal of the program is to explain the importance of cancer prevention, the need to monitor your health and undergo regular diagnostics. After all, lifestyle correction and avoidance of bad habits reduces the risk of malignant tumors by 30–50%, and 95% of cancer cases are completely curable in the early stages,” said Igor Novikov, member of the Human Rights Council, co-founder of Everland.

In order for users to quickly find the information they need on the Onconavigator program website, the Prosvet chat bot was created in September 2025. In less than six months of operation, more than 73 thousand people used it, which proves the demand for the service. Initially, the chatbot was integrated into the website of the Onconavigator program and worked on two platforms: Telegram and VKontakte. From February 2026, the Prosvet chatbot will be available on the MAX platform.

“At the end of 2025, the national messenger MAX was already used by almost 29 million people, and its audience continues to grow, which demonstrates the demand for the communication channel. That’s why we decided to develop the chatbot not only in terms of functionality, but also in terms of presence on different platforms,” comments Victoria Bokova, development director at TWIN.

The majority of queries (73%) are searching for information in road maps – sections of the site dedicated to a specific type of cancer. Another frequent request is help in finding the right doctor, scheduling an in-person visit or remote consultation, building an individual treatment route through the free routing service “1000 and 1 question about oncology.” He works as part of the Onconavigator program. In addition, users of the Prosvet chatbot are interested in how to reduce the risk of developing cancer through cancer prevention. Users also seek free psychological help. In such cases, the chatbot directs them to the Clear Morning service.

“More than 73 thousand requests in less than six months is confirmation of the real demand for the chatbot. People come for specific actions and receive them in a convenient form. Our task is to develop the service where users need it. Developing a chatbot for a new messenger is a logical step towards scaling assistance,” Vyacheslav Litovchenko, CEO of Sovcombank Technologies, leader of the “Good Technologies” and “Sovcombank about Good” projects.
