The Krasnoyarsk Transport Prosecutor's Office revealed violations of the rights of passengers of Yakutia Airlines. The reason for the inspection was appeals from citizens.
During supervisory activities, it was established that in January 2026, a Yakutia Airlines plane en route from Novosibirsk to Yakutsk made an unscheduled landing in Krasnoyarsk due to a technical reason. The wait for departure was more than 10 hours. At the same time, the air carrier did not provide passengers with hotel accommodation, which is provided for by the current rules in case of a long flight delay.
Based on the results of the inspection, the transport prosecutor submitted a proposal to the head of Yakutia Airlines to eliminate the violations. In addition, a case of administrative offense was initiated against the legal entity under Part 2 of Art. 14.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (provision of services in violation of the requirements established by law, committed repeatedly).
Consideration of acts of prosecutorial response is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
