“Infrastructure for life.” Last year, large-scale improvement projects were implemented in the mining towns of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – winners of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. Applications for the city competition are traditionally prepared with the participation of city-forming enterprises SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and the Melnichenko Foundation. This made it possible to renovate the main Lenin Street in Borodino, create new recreational areas in the Birch Grove eco-park in Nazarovo, and build a unique Dinopark in Sharypovo.

“Tourism and Hospitality”. In Sharypovo in 2025, for the second time, with the co-financing of the Melnichenko Foundation and the support of coal miners, the Opening Festival was held – a great celebration of science, creativity and music. And in Krasnoyarsk, at the end of December, a branch of the National Center “Russia” opened, one of the sites of which – the Museum of Siberian Heat – was prepared jointly by the Melnichenko Foundation, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and SGK.

“Youth and Children”. SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, together with the Melnichenko Foundation, successfully implements the “Professional Teams.FM” and “Professional Classes.FM” projects in cities of responsibility, aimed at in-depth career guidance for schoolchildren. Thanks to them, 220 high school students were introduced to fuel and energy sector professions last summer, and more than 270 children in grades 8-11 are now studying in specialized classes, studying the exact sciences in depth, and at the same time mastering their first working professions in local secondary schools. Last summer, as part of the regional project “Professionalism for All” of the federal project “Professionality”, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk signed an agreement on joint activities with specialized colleges aimed at developing the professional competencies of future fuel and energy sector workers.

“Ecological well-being.” Coal miners continue to implement a comprehensive environmental program at their enterprises. In addition, last year they planted more than 100 tree seedlings in Borodino, Nazarovo and Sharypovo. Nazarovo miners joined the all-Russian campaign to collect waste paper #Boombattle, and in Borodino employees of city-forming enterprises took part in the all-Russian festival of energy saving and ecology #Brighter Together.

“Family”. SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and the Melnichenko Foundation held a number of events aimed at preserving and strengthening family values: urban forums were held in Borodino and Nazarovo, Borodino residents were the first in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to implement the “Park Culture” project, Nazarovo became a pilot site for the “Words of Victory” project, and in Krasnoyarsk on Tatyshev Island on Youth Day a huge playground was opened with all kinds of entertainment for children of all kinds ages.

It should be noted that every year projects implemented with the support of coal miners become leaders of the national “Our Contribution” award, thus confirming the status of a partner of national projects received by SUEK in 2021. The company actively participates in the implementation of national projects, focusing on environmental initiatives, infrastructure development and support for the social sphere within the framework of the principles of public-private partnership.
