Sebastian Chitosca (33 years old), former footballer who played for FCSB and FC Botoșani, was invited to the GSP Live Special show and analyzed the first half of the match at the National Arenabetween Bucharest and Moldovans.
Chitoșca ended his career prematurely, in 2019, his last club being U Cluj. Until then, he played at FCSB (2016-2017), but also at FC Botoșani (2017-2019).
VIDEO. Sebastian Chitoșca, about FCSB – FC Botoșani: “I'm disappointed”
The former player was disappointed with how the hospitality went in the first part of the game, and that was because of the way Leo Grozavu's students presented themselves.
“Honestly, I'm a little disappointed with what Botoşani showed. I expected them to control the game with FCSB, but if the attitude of the Botoșani players or their freshness in this match looks like this, or if they can show their desire to fight for a play-off place, they have no chance. I think they will never be in the playoffs. It seems like a holiday game for FCSB.
For both teams. I don't see desperation at Steaua or the pressure of the result, but neither at Botoșani. I understand that Steaua can control the game, that it has more quality, but I don't see freshness in the Botoșani players. I see a lot of space between the attacking line, which consists of one player, and the midfield.
This is how I see it: a lot of spaces, I don't see the desire not to lose this match either. They started as if Steaua is better and they will lose anyway. I don't like how Botoşaniul looks. The star is in her score: if she is allowed to play, she plays.
I would like to beat Botoșani. Not because I have anything with FCSB, it's the team I've been with since childhood, but there are some things I don't like about them, especially the way the club is managed. I can't have any more empathy for this team. Basically, it doesn't work the way a professional football club should work,” Sebastian Chitoșca said on GSP Live Special.
