Pavel Badea intervened after the Court of Appeal rejected the appeal submitted by the CS Universitatea Craiova: “This is to come”

Timisoara Court of Appeal rejected the appeal submitted by CS Universitatea Craiovain the record file of Science, and Pavel Badea (58 years old), the director of the club, reacted, exclusively for Gazeta Sporturilor.
Following this decision, the track record is with the private company FC U Craiova SA, the team disaffiliated in 2011 and later entered bankruptcy. So, it returned to the decision made in 2017 at the Dolj Court when the club where Pavel Badea is the director was rejected the request to have the record recognized in the period 1948-1991.
Pavel Badea gave a reaction to Gazeta Sporturilor, in which he mentioned that he is waiting for the decision from the retrial.

“No one won anything! There is no such thing! The record is currently under retrial. The court has decided whether it will be tried once more and the retrial will follow. Currently, the court is deciding whether to judge the request made by our people, from what I understand from the lawyers.
This is the track record from 1991. The Universitatea Craiova Sports Club played half of the championship at CS Universitatea Craiova. We asked to be awarded that championship and cup (No. – from the 1990 – 1991 season), the others (No. – the Romanian Cup from the 1992-1993 edition) belong to the club that carried out its activity with extrabudgetary sources (No. – refers to the private club).
They belong to the entity that was and were not taken over at the Ministry. Nobody won anything and nobody can lay claim to a club's record if it is public law.
The trial will continue, and the court will decide to whom the record will be awarded or, better said, if it will be awarded to CS Universitatea Craiova. We had an opposition from a family (no – Mititelu)”, said Pavel Badea for Gazeta Sporturilor.

Adrian Mititelu, the owner of FCU 1948 Craiova, gave a reaction to Gazeta Sporturilor, in which he was satisfied with the new decision.
“The imposture has fallen. FC Universitatea Craiova was and will be the historic team of Craiova!”, Mititelu told GSP.ro.
