Interactive safety guide available in mObywatel


The government security guide is an official publication prepared by the Polish state. Its aim is to increase citizens' awareness and prepare them to respond to crisis situations. The paper version of the guide was distributed to virtually all homes in the country.

Security guide now available in mObywatel
As officials informed, its digital version was made available in the mObywatel application. — The security guide, which we have prepared with difficult times in mind, is available in the mObywatel application in an interactive form, which enables easy assimilation of information and reaction in crisis situations, said Marcin Kierwiński, Minister of Interior and Administration.
According to the press release, the digital version of the guide provides information on what to do in difficult situations.

The study was divided into five parts and they concern safety rules, preparation of an evacuation backpack, alarm signals, SOS numbers and disturbing situations.
The new option is available in the “Services” tab, from which you need to select the “Security” path. The option to share the guide has been implemented since Thursday, so not all users have access to it anymore.
— Last year, Poles logged into the mObywatel application on average 1.5 million times a day, which shows that it has become one of the key channels of communication between the state and its citizens. That is why we are providing the Digital Security Guide here – said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski.

What is mObywatel used for?
The mObywatel application is the official government mobile application that allows you to use digital documents and public services straight from your phone. The mObywatel program is a digital portfolio of documents and public services, launched in 2017 and developed by the Ministry of Digitization. In July 2025, the number of users exceeded 10 million.
