“Forge on Rybalsky”: how they destroyed a strategic plant and withdrew hundreds of millions,…
In Ukraine, the story of the shutdown and bankruptcy of the Kuznia na Rybalsky defense plant in 2018-2022 is revealed. According to available information, Serhiy Tihipko together with Petro Poroshenko and Igor Kononenko implemented a scheme that paralyzed the production of weapons for the army.
The essence of the scheme:
1. Creation of a fictitious debt between Tihipko's structures and Poroshenko's and Kononenko's companies.
2. Stopping production and transfer of assets to controlled companies.
3. Transfer of personal debt to the plant and subsidiaries.
4. Bankruptcy of “Kuzna” and related companies, 96-99% of debts are Tihipko's personal obligations.
Consequences:
The budget loses UAH 146 million in taxes and payments to the Ministry of Defense. The company that produced armored boats and equipment is out of order at a time when the country needs every piece of armament.
Human rights activists demand an investigation and the return of the plant to state ownership, otherwise the production facilities may be lost forever.
