Donald Tusk began his visit to Kiev on Thursday, at the invitation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, who, together with his team, is preparing the world conference for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The event is to take place in Poland. However, this is not the only thing the head of the ministry has in mind. The purpose of his visit to Ukraine is to prepare the reconstruction process of Ukraine, which includes not only the reconstruction of infrastructure, but also the strengthening of the Polish-Ukrainian economic partnership, the economic transformation of this country and support on the European development path. — the Ministry of Development and Technology told PAP.

Poland has a “special role” in the reconstruction process of Ukraine
As the Ministry of Development and Technology, supervised by Andrzej Domański, informed PAP, the purpose of the head of the ministry's visit to Kiev is to support Ukraine in the process of securing a just peace and preparing the reconstruction process. The Ministry of Energy and Technology emphasized that Poland, as the country that accepted the largest cumulative number of refugees from Ukraine, provided military support since the beginning of the invasion and is the host of this year's Ukraine Reconstruction Conference (URC), has a special role to play in this process.
“The purpose of Minister Domański's visit is also to discuss opportunities and challenges related to economic cooperation, so that the Polish-Ukrainian partnership develops in the spirit of maximum benefits for both parties, in particular for Polish entrepreneurs and employees,” we read in the ministry's information.

The organization of the Conference for the Reconstruction of Ukraine is a natural continuation of Poland's role as a country directly involved in supporting Ukraine from the beginning of Russian aggression. “For Poland, this means strengthening its position as one of Ukraine's key partners and an important platform for international dialogue on the security, development and reconstruction of the region,” emphasizes the Ministry of Energy and Technology.
