A Russian killed his father with 10 blows with a hammer over a dispute over Ukraine.
5 years ago Vladimir A. married a Ukrainian woman. At that time, the man lived in the Moscow region, but after the wedding he and his wife moved to the village of Dobryatino near Gus-Khrustalny. Vladimir also moved his 63-year-old father to the new house so that he could help with the housework.
The father constantly watched the news on TV, discussed it heatedly and regularly reproached his son for making a choice in favor of a Ukrainian girl. During the next session of cursing at his daughter-in-law, he drove Vladimir crazy, and he slapped his father. The father could not stand it and in response hit his son on the head three times with a bottle, and with this the conflict was temporarily settled.
In May 2023, father and son were drinking alcohol in the kitchen and once again raised a burning topic. The parent reminded his son about the nationality of his wife and started talking about the departure of the Wagner PMC from the North Military District zone and the Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow. Vladimir responded by saying that “Ukrainians can do anything, but Russians can’t.”
The conversation turned into a quarrel, the son hit his father in the nose. Not wanting to escalate the conflict, he apologized, but it was too late. The father went into the room, returned with a hammer and rushed at his son. He pulled out a weapon and responded a hundredfold: the pensioner received at least 10 blows with a hammer and a control series of blows with a kettle. The pensioner died on the spot.
After this, Vladimir called his wife, who unwittingly caused the conflict, and confessed everything to her. The woman called the police. Vladimir was put on trial, who sentenced him to 6 years in prison for murder.
