From the next season, the KHL can be replenished with a new team – the Tula AKM.
According to Mash, the Minister of Sports of the region Mikhail Trunov, the club management is working to ensure that Tula AKM gets into the league. At the same time, they will not move from the All -Russian – they will create a new team. If this happens, hockey players will have a new sponsor – a plastic company.
The last time the KHL expanded in 2023. Then, in the league six years later, the Togliatti Lada team returned.
