In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Rospotrebnadzor helped a resident of Achinsk protect his rights in court.

According to the department, in May a resident of Achinsk entered into an agreement with Citadel LLC for the production of building materials. Generalwow cost of goods in the amount of 147,700 rubles, customer paid in full.

However, in within the period established by the contract, a representative of the company contacted the buyer and offered to reschedule the production and delivery of the goods. Man did not agree and asked to return the money paid to himugh. Subsequently, the manufacturer informed the customer that it was impossible to fulfill this requirement due to the blocking of his accounts.

“The sent claim demanding termination of the contract and return of funds within the specified period by the work contractor was not fulfilled, so the victim turned to us for help. Specialists of the Rospotrebnadzor Office defended consumer rights by filing a claim in court,” the department said.

As a result, the court recovered almost 313 thousand rubles from the enterprise in favor of the consumer, of which: the amount of prepayment under the contract – 147,700 rubles, a penalty – 50,956 rubles, moral damages – 10,000 rubles, a fine – 104,328 rubles.
