The end of Sławomir Mentzen's party? There is a comment from the inside

Sławomir Mentzen's party got into formal and legal trouble. The reason for this state of affairs are financial statements for 2024, which Nowa Nadzieja was to submit by the end of March. She did so, but, according to the National Electoral Commission (PKW), the documents were delivered in a manner inconsistent with legal requirements.
As a result of this error The National Electoral Commission submitted an application to the Warsaw District Court to remove Nowa Nadzieja from the register of political parties. The decision is to be made on November 21.

— We are ready for various scenarios. What may seem like a crisis to some is an opportunity to others, says party vice-president Krzysztof Rzońca to “Fakt”.
However, as he assures, “the party is still functioning and will continue to function at high speed.” In the event of an unfavorable court decision, he announced appeals.
New hope. History
The New Hope Party was founded 10 years ago by a group of activists of the New Right Congress, gathered around Janusz Korwin-Mikke. The group, initially known as the Coalition for the Renewal of the Republic of Poland, Freedom and Hope (KORWiN), was officially registered on June 23, 2015. Since 2019, the party has been operating as part of the Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległości coalition.
During its history, the party changed its name several times. In 2016, it adopted the name “Freedom”, but due to difficulties with its registration, in December 2018 it returned to the original abbreviation KORWiN. Another change occurred on December 18, 2021, when the group adopted the full name Konfederacja Odnowy Rzeczypospolitej Wolność i Nadzieja, still using the abbreviation KORWiN. Finally, on November 29, 2022, the party abandoned this name.
A key moment in the group's history was the change in leadership. On October 15, 2022, Janusz Korwin-Mikke, the long-time leader and founder of the party, stepped down as president. His place was taken by Sławomir Mentzen, who has led the group ever since.
