Sad graph from Eurostat: Romania defies any European figure for price increases. More than double the highest inflation in 2025 of any EU country

Eurostat published the annual inflation for 2025. The euro zone has 1.8%, and the highest inflation after Romania was in Slovakia, at 4.1%, reveals the data analyzed by Profit.ro.
Romania's price increase has jumped off any European chart, but Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, has calculated that there was an inflation of 8.6% in 2025, compared to the last estimate of the BNR, which indicated an increase to 9.6%.
