A physical education teacher neutralized a girl with a knife at a Kodino school

In Kodinsk, physical education teacher Alexander Lazarenko neutralized a 14-year-old girl who had stabbed her classmate. The administration of the Kezhemsky Municipal District spoke about this.

It all happened on February 3 at school No. 4. According to preliminary data, a 7th-grader had a conflict with one of the teachers. She tried to attack the teacher with a knife, but wounded her peer. Alexander Lazarenko came to the aid of the victim; he learned about what had happened from other students and immediately went up to the floor.

First, the physical education teacher helped the wounded girl get to the first aid station, and then caught up with the attacker and convinced her to surrender her weapon.

“I calmly talked to the girl and asked her to put the knife down. She obeyed, carefully placed it on the windowsill and sat down next to him,” said Alexander Lazarenko.

Thanks to the professional actions of the teacher, the situation was quickly brought under control. Representatives of the school administration and police were called to the scene, and the attacker was detained.

Currently, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of the crime. Two criminal cases have already been initiated.

“The preliminary cause of the conflict was the emotional state of the schoolgirl against the backdrop of difficult relationships with other students. It is known that the girl is being raised in a complete large family and is not registered with the preventive system,” the prosecutor’s office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.
