Krasnoyarsk residents were told when New Year's decorations will begin to be removed from the city streets

New Year's street decor in Krasnoyarsk will begin cleaning in the second half of this month, the mayor's office reported.

Thus, Christmas trees in public spaces of the city will begin to be dismantled on February 16, the process will take about two weeks. The main Christmas tree on Tatyshev Island will stand until February 20.

New Year's decorations at road junctions will also be among the first to be removed. Then small luminous figures – balls, garlands, snowmen and others – will be removed from the city streets. And later – larger ones (light trees, deer, book, crystals), the dismantling of which requires more time and the involvement of large equipment for loading.

All elements of New Year's street decor will be transported to warehouses for storage, inspected and, if necessary, repaired.

New Year's towns, figures and slides in all districts of Krasnoyarsk will be dismantled for safety reasons, depending on their condition based on the results of commission inspections.
