Daniel Băluță criticizes Bolojan: “He knows only one thing, to cut. We end up like in Moromeții. People were hiding from Jupuitu, who was coming to collect the “work””

The mayor of District 4, Daniel Băluță, criticized on Monday evening, on Digi24, the government of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, which he says is focused exclusively on spending cuts.

Asked what PSD's plans are regarding Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, Mayor Daniel Băluță stated that “we do nothing but discuss and explain to him in a reasoned manner. (…) We will never work against Romanians. We will never deepen the crisis in which Romanian society is. We will never exclusively concern ourselves with the things that Mr. Bolojan does”.

“If we look at the proposed measures, we cannot applaud a man who seems to know only one thing: to cut. If you can point me to another construction measure that he has achieved, I congratulate you. Otherwise, this is the only direction he is following: cuts, nothing more. Reconstruction measures and the protection of vulnerable people are not among his concerns,” said Daniel Băluță.

“For Mr. Bolojan, all Romanians are suspected of service”

“The protocol does not say that you have to sign Mercosur without consulting your government partners, nor do you follow citizens with drones or impose taxes on solariums, because at some point you start to look like a character from Moromeții. If we start from the idea that the state follows its citizens and does not develop a partnership with the citizens, we will not get anywhere. For Mr. Bolojan, all Romanians are suspects in the service”, he also said the mayor of Sector 4.

Băluță concluded that the differences between the PSD and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan are related to the philosophy of governance, “because, if alongside these measures you also include Mr. Bolojan's main concern, we end up with an absolutely sensational scene from “Moromeții”. The people were hiding from Jupuitu, who was coming to collect the “functioning”. We are talking about this type of perception among the people. However, the government must be done for the people”, said the mayor of Sector 4.
