Arsenal won the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup, the equivalent of the men's Club World Cup, after beating Corinthians 3-2 after extra time in the final.
The final of the new women's football competition was played at London's Emirates Stadium between Arsenal, who defeated FAR Rabat in the semi-final, 6-0, and Brazilian side Corinthians, who had won the match against Gotham, 1-0, in the previous round.

The new tournament organized by FIFA brought together six continental champions from around the world with the aim of naming the best women's club team worldwide, according to bbc.com.
The winner of the competition will receive £1.7m, the biggest prize money ever awarded in women's club football.
The game started well for the English side after striker Olivia Smith opened the scoring in the 15th minute. However, Corinthians captain Gabi Zanotti restored parity just six minutes later.
In the second half, Lotte Wubben-Moy put Arsenal back in front. Although the match seemed over, Corinthians equalized in the 90th+6th minute, after a penalty, setting the score at 2-2.
Caitlin Foord, who came on during the game, scored the winning goal for Arsenal in the 104th minute after beating Corinthians goalkeeper Lele.
This win for Renee Slegers' side comes just months after Arsenal won the Champions League in May.
It's great to get the win. We showed incredible character and resilience: we conceded a goal right at the end, but we came back in extra time. The girls were extraordinary. It is undoubtedly a unique experience, being the first edition of the Champions Cup. We will take a lot of good things from today's victory and from the fact that we won a trophy.

The end of the match was overshadowed by the injury of Arsenal's goalkeeper, Anneke Borbe. She was taken off the field on a stretcher after an accidental collision with teammate Lotte Wubben-Moy in the final minutes of extra time.
