Khayat did not answer whether Vinnik could return to Ukrainian show business.
“I didn’t like him either as a person or as an artist, before or after. I understand that there are a large number of people who really directly loved him, and I know that for them this is a disappointment,” the artist said.
Khayat also recalled how Vinnik, being a member of the jury in the show “X Factor” on STB, criticized him for singing.
“Oleg Vinnik said that it was better for me not to sing. It didn’t appeal to me, but you always need to filter what you say and who you say to. You never know where you will end up with whom,” Khayat noted.
He added that he still had many questions about Vinnik’s human qualities.
“I cannot accept the subjective opinions of people I don’t like,” Khayat emphasized.
Context
Vinnik secretly left Ukraine at the end of February 2022 and went to Germany. The artist did not appear in public for some time, and then began performing abroad in restaurants, including performing his old songs in Russian.
In December 2025, Vinnik gave an interview to a journalist from RBC-Ukraine Life, in which began promoting Kremlin narratives.
