The 19-year-old brutally assaulted by two footballers who belonged to Poli Timișoara until yesterday he is the son of Marius Sasu, 50 years old, the former legitimized striker throughout his career at Politehnica Timișoara and Rapid, who also evolved for a long time in Hungary. Lucas, his boy, was left with serious injuries after being allegedly beaten by Cosmin Huminic (22 years old) and Denis Tătaru (19 years old), two players linked to the club from Banat.
Scenes of outrageous violence took place on Sunday morning in front of a nightclub in Timișoara, where two players registered at Poli, who were about to be loaned to other teams, were involved in an altercation that resulted in the injury of a 19-year-old young man. The reprehensible actions would have been caused by a fit of jealousy of one of the aggressors, who would have seen his ex-partner in the company of the one they were going to pounce on.
Poli Timișoara, a League 3 club that aims to return to the forefront of Romanian football, condemned the actions of the two bully players, announcing that they are no longer part of Dan Alexa's team.
They are no longer part of the team, one of them was on loan. It's just that it's an investigation now, we don't know what happened either. These are things that should not happen! I don't know exactly what happened, we'll see, the investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched, with the police drawing up a criminal case.

Victim's mother: “These hooligans made him miserable”
Lucas' mother, Alina Sperlea, a local councilor in Dumbrăvița, told the local press disturbing details about the ordeal her son went through:
“Among the aggressors are Cosmin Huminic, Denis Tătaru and Robert Damșa. The first two are registered at Poli Timișoara, and the third, at the team from Giroc.
It's amazing what they could do. As a mother, I will go to great lengths to do justice to my child. He did nothing wrong, and these hooligans made him miserable. He has a broken head, a fractured jaw. The hair he was hit with is covered in Lucas' blood”, declares the mother of the victim, Alina Sperlea, according to Sursa de Vest.
“The fact that after they left him in a pool of blood they can be seen laughing and walking calmly says everything about what kind of people they are. I will go to the end so that my son gets justice”, added Alina Sperlea, according to the cited source.
