The first locally produced electric charging stations went into operation in Krasnoyarsk

The Rosseti Sibir company continues to develop infrastructure for electric transport.
In Krasnoyarsk, new locally produced charging stations for electric cars were connected to the network for the first time. They are installed on Svobodny Avenue, 46 and Alekseeva Street, 52.
Energy engineers have selected suitable locations for charging stations, connected them to the power grid and will provide further support for the operation of chargers. The new equipment is resistant to the harsh weather conditions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: the gas station functions reliably even in severe frosts.
“The charging stations used in our network are equipped with a heating system to ensure that the internal components work correctly. The lower limit is minus 45 degrees. As practice shows, the stations cope with such temperatures. Fast charging stations allow you to charge a car within one hour and then use it throughout the day,” said Mikhail Kozyrev, chief expert of the Rosseti Sibir services development and implementation department.
An important feature of the new charging stations is that these are the first installations of this level of domestic production. They were created by the Krasnoyarsk enterprise Radiosvyaz (part of the Rosel holding of the Rostec state corporation).
“The full production cycle of charging stations, from design documentation to assembly, is organized in Krasnoyarsk. Most materials and spare parts are domestic. We are pleased to cooperate with Rosseti Sibir. The plans include increasing serial production and developing the charging structure in the region and in Russia as a whole,” said Gennady Nelidov, head of the automation and mechanization department of NPP Radiosvyaz.

New electric chargers support three connection standards: Type 2, CHAdeMO, GB/T. They fit almost any modern electric car. During the first month, the new electric charging stations will operate in test mode, and you can charge for free. Charging complex services are available through the Rosseti Electric Transport mobile application, developed specifically for electric car owners.
The development of modern infrastructure for electric transport is being implemented within the framework of the federal Concept for the development of electric transport in the Russian Federation until 2030. The emergence of new charging stations contributes to the transition to fuel-free modes of transport and improvement of the environmental situation in the region.
