February 2 11:12

In 2025, the Boguchanskaya HPP produced and supplied consumers with more than 17.24 billion kWh of electricity. From the launch of the first units in October 2012 to January 1, 2026, the Boguchanskaya HPP produced 196.37 billion kWh of energy. In terms of production volumes in 2025, the station took fifth place among hydroelectric power plants in the Russian Federation.

Production results comparable to the annual design output are determined by the hydrological situation – water content in the Angara Cascade was lower than in previous years. The average water flow through the hydroelectric units of the Boguchanskaya HPP amounted to 3118.9 m3/s, which is 563.1 m3/s less than in 2024. The average level of the Boguchansky reservoir was 207.55 m above the level of the Baltic Sea; no excesses of the normal retaining level (208 m) were recorded.

During the year, new structural divisions were created at the hydroelectric power station: the Operation Service, the Department for the Technical Re-equipment of Equipment and Hydraulic Structures (OTPO) and the Civil Defense and Emergency Department. The main tasks of the new divisions are to ensure trouble-free operation and electricity production, increase the reliability and service life of equipment and structures.

Boguchanskaya HPP JSC paid more than 14.35 billion rubles to budgets of all levels, which is 12.4% more than at the end of 2024. The Russian budget received about 8.82 billion rubles, the growth of contributions amounted to 40.2%. The hydroelectric power station sent more than 5.51 billion to the regional treasury and continues to be among the TOP 10 enterprises, providing a total of 44% of budget revenues of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Payments to the municipal budget in the form of land rent were increased to 16.6 million rubles, and the total amount of taxes and contributions to extra-budgetary funds exceeded 14.66 billion rubles.

Power engineers are constantly improving their professional training. Over the past year, 420 managers, specialists and workers of the Boguchanskaya HPP completed training under additional education programs of Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Corporate University of Hydropower of PJSC RusHydro and other educational institutions. As of December 31, 2025, 68.7% of station employees have higher education, 28.3% have secondary vocational education, and every tenth person has two higher education diplomas.

The HPP team is making great efforts to train new personnel for the Russian energy sector. 22 students completed practical training in the departments of the Boguchanskaya HPP, which is almost three times more than the year before. Most of them study at the Sayano-Shushensky branch of Siberian Federal University, Siberian State University of Science and Technology. M.F. Reshetnev, National Research University “Moscow Energy Institute” and Priangarsk Polytechnic College.
