Noah joked in one of his liners that every artist dreams of a Grammy just like “Trump dreams of Greenland.” He also added that after the death of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, “Trump needs a new island to hang out with former US President Bill Clinton.”
Trump responded by calling the Grammy Awards “the worst ceremony, which, in his opinion, is “almost impossible to watch.” Commenting on Noah’s jokes about himself, the US President accused the presenter of spreading “lies and slander.”
According to Trump, he cannot speak for Clinton, but he himself “has never been to Epstein's island or anywhere near it.”
He added that no one had ever accused him of this before. Trump also threatened the presenter with legal action and noted that he would seek financial compensation.
The American president also called Noah a “total loser,” adding that he considers him a “pathetic, talentless idiot presenter.”
Noah has not yet commented on Trump's attacks against him. The organizers of the award also refrain from commenting.
