They there, in Russia, are not preparing for the transition to peacetime

He reported on the report of the head of military intelligence Oleg Ivashchenko. He spoke about current Russian military plans and preparations.

“They there, in Russia, are not preparing for the transition to peacetime. They are preparing to continue the assaults at the existing level – exactly as it is happening. And we will convey information about this to our partners,” Zelensky said.

According to him, the only thing that can change the plans of the Russian Federation is economic pressure on it.

“The economy and the corresponding losses from the war are something that Russia will take into account. Money in Russia must run out for the war to begin to end. We will continue to convey to our partners the facts of cooperation between Chinese entities and Russia – ways for Russia to circumvent world sanctions for this war,” the president noted.

As Zelensky pointed out, Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation at trilateral negotiations with the United States and the Russian Federation, is “constantly in touch with the American side.”

“Ukraine is ready for meetings, for all formats of effective work. Meetings must be full-fledged exactly as our teams agreed and are working. So that everything that has been developed is actually implemented for the sake of a decent and sustainable peace. And in Russia we must recognize that peace is needed,” the president emphasized.
