The PSD leadership meets on Sunday, from 5:00 p.m., in the meeting of the National Political Council, at Vila Lac, the social democrats are going to discuss the governing coalition, the legislative priorities in the new parliamentary session that starts on Monday, as well as the organization of the branches.

On the agenda of the PSD leadership meeting is the preparation of the solidarity package, those measures that the PSD supports in the coalition for the protection of vulnerable categories. The Social Democrats want pensioners to continue receiving those one/off benefits, writes the News.
In addition, the Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, stated, about the freezing of the benefits of children with disabilities, who receive around 80 lei minimum, per person, per month, that the PSD considers that an increase is needed, showing that the social democrats understand the need for budget savings, but, at the same time, they also understand the need for social solidarity and the need to compensate certain categories of citizens.
Moreover, the Minister of Labor will present at the PSD meeting what the solidarity package includes. The PSD leadership will also establish the legislative priorities for the parliamentary session that starts on Monday and will also discuss the situation in the governing coalition.
It will also be discussed about the relations in the coalition, the timeline for assuming responsibility for the administration reform package and the economic recovery package, currently blocked, at the level of the decision in the coalition, but also about the 2026 budget, which would be finalized in the next period in the Government and sent to the Parliament.
The meeting will also discuss the situation in the sector organizations, where new managements must be appointed, following the resignation of the presidents from the PSD Branch 2, Rodica Nassar and from Sector 6, Gabriel Mutu.
