Italian striker Ciro Immobile, almost 36 years old, is in advanced negotiations with Paris FC, a team in search of a genuine top for the second part of the season, according to the famous transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano.
In Paris, Immobile would find his compatriot Diego Coppola, the Italian defender recently arrived on loan from Brighton. Paris FC are currently 14th in Ligue 1 and recently produced a huge upset by eliminating PSG 1-0 in the round of 16 of the French Cup, their first ever victory in the city's derby.
Fabrizio Romano confirms: “Advanced negotiations”
The Italian expert announced on social networks that the talks between the parties are at a very advanced stage:
“Paris FC are in advanced negotiations to sign Ciro Immobile, a surprise transfer, with talks already well advanced! The agreement between the clubs is almost complete, the final approval from the player is coming, then the medical visit will follow.“

Paris FC would have already reached an agreement with Bologna, the club that Immobile joined last summer, after leaving Beşiktaş. The Italian's contract with the Serie A outfit expires at the end of the season.
To complete the move, only the last contractual details with the player need to be worked out, and then the medical visit will be scheduled. The transfer could be formalized before the close of the mercato period on Monday evening.
Difficult season in Bologna
Ciro Immobile is a European champion with Italy in 2021 (57 caps, 17 goals) and remains one of the most prolific Italian strikers of the last decade. His record of 36 goals in a Serie A season (2019-2020), set at Lazio, is still unmatched.
Throughout his career he played for: Juventus, Siena, Grosseto, Pescara, Genoa, Torino, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, Lazio, Beşiktaş and Bologna.
After suffering a muscle injury at the start of the season, Immobile was out for almost two months and made just 9 appearances for Bologna, without a goal or assist. In Turkey, at Beşiktaş, he had previously scored 15 goals in 30 championship matches.
