In Russia, from February 1, the one-time allowance for pregnant wives of conscripts will increase. According to the Saratov 24 TV channel, the payment will increase to 45,054 rubles.
Women whose husbands are conscripted, are first-year cadets at a military school, or are studying at a military department are eligible for payment. The main condition is that the pregnancy period must exceed 180 days.
The benefit is assigned in a fixed amount and is subject to annual indexation. You can submit an application online through the government services portal, as well as at the client service of the Social Fund of Russia or at the MFC. It is important to apply no later than six months after the end of your husband’s military service.
