“Ivan Yarygin Cup” in Krasnoyarsk is held with the support of the En+ company

The En+ company has become the general partner of the international freestyle wrestling competition among men and women “Ivan Yarygin Cup”.

Let us remind you that the tournament started on January 29 and will end on February 1. 502 athletes came to Krasnoyarsk to participate in it – 176 women and 426 men. The Russian team includes 5 Honored Masters of Sports and 57 Masters of Sports of Russia of international class. 220 foreign wrestlers represent 21 countries from 4 continents.

For the first time in the history of the tournament, an athlete from Brazil, an Olympic participant and the strongest athlete in her country, will take part in it. Among the foreign guests, the largest delegation is from Mongolia. The strongest team, with 3 current world champions and several medalists, is the North Korean team, led by head coach and two-time Olympic champion Kim Il-yong.

Let us remind you that the tournament named after two-time Olympic champion, world and European champion, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR Ivan Yarygin has been held since 1990. The first competitions were held in Abakan; since 1991, the tournament has been held in Krasnoyarsk.
