9 days after the previous global internet outage, we are facing the same problem again. On Wednesday evening, many websites experience operational problems.

Cloud platform users Microsoft Azure may have problems accessing key services, including Office 365, OneDrive or Minecraft.
Microsoft confirmed the failure, which began around 17 Polish time, and the cause was given as “DNS issues” – the same reason that caused a massive outage of Amazon Web Services (AWS) last week. The company explained that the source of the problems was a failure of the Azure Front Door (AFD) service, responsible for managing Internet traffic and service availability.
Minecraft, Microsoft Store, Xbox, but also mBank and the Lotto website – these are websites that have problems with operation.
Outage tracking website Downdetector reported thousands of reports of problems with multiple websites around the world on Wednesday afternoon. They affected, among others: London Heathrow Airport, O2 mobile operator, Scottish Parliament, Starbucks chain.

Interestingly, Amazon itself stated in its announcement that AWS works flawlessly.
mBank informs about the problems in a separate post:
The problems with Microsoft's Azure service emerged just hours before the company released its quarterly financial report and just over a week after a massive outage of Amazon's cloud computing service knocked out a wide range of online services, including social media platforms, gaming, food delivery, streaming and financial platforms.
Microsoft, with approximately 20% market share, is the world's second largest provider of cloud services – after Amazon Web Services. Amazon said on Wednesday that its AWS services were operating normally.
The article is updated on an ongoing basis.
