Meeting at Karol Nawrocki's. These should be the most urgent topics

According to the Palace, the meeting is needed to discuss “the president's current cooperation with parliament.” The talks may take place without the Left and KO – and without these parties they may lose their meaning. This does not change the fact that there are urgent political and economic issues that Karol Nawrocki should discuss with party representatives. Here they are.
Karol Nawrocki was invited by Donald Trump to join a new organization called the Peace Council. It is not entirely clear what this entity is supposed to be – it is supposed to protect peace in the Gaza Strip, but its competences can be expanded. There are many experts who believe that Trump actually wants to create competition for the UN.

Poland has not yet signed a declaration on joining the Council, but our presence in the body cannot be ruled out. Polsat News even reported sensational information that the president would like to make a “deal” with Donald Trump – participation in the Council in exchange for permanent US bases in Poland. However, such a “deal” would have to be sealed with the consent of the Parliament, especially since joining the new body would not be free – and would cost $1 billion. In a word – there is something to talk about. And it would be good if there were arrangements not only between the president and the prime minister, but also with the participation of club representatives.
Look: Poles want to be on Donald Trump's Peace Council. But on one condition
The issue of armaments and their financing, as well as the construction of a possible “Fort Trump” in Poland, probably also requires talks at the “summit”.
PIP reform
The reform of the National Labor Inspectorate is born in pain. In short, the most controversial issues are the rules for transforming civil law and B2B contracts into full-time employment. Prime Minister Donald Tusk had a different vision of solutions in this area, and another one had the left-wing Minister of Labor Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk. Apparently, however, there is already a project that has received the support of the entire government.
However, the president can, of course, overturn the table by not signing the bill (if indeed a compromise is reached within the government). This is a sensitive issue because time is running out – the reform is one of the milestones of the KPO. Theoretically, billions from the EU are at risk. The complexity of the case and the controversy it raises lead to a quite simple conclusion – it is worth establishing a version that will not meet with the opposition of President Nawrocki.
Crypto assets
President Karol Nawrocki rejected the original version of the act on cryptoassets, but MPs took up it again. Recently, the Sejm rejected the Senate's amendments on this matter – and the bill once again landed on Karol Nawrocki's desk. Recently, the head of the Chancellery of the President, Zbigniew Bogucki, suggested that there would be no signature this time either. This is not a big surprise, because the current version of the bill is quite similar to the vetoed one.
The purpose of the adopted act is to ensure the application of the EU MiCA regulation (The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) regarding the crypto-assets market. But it's not only about EU solutions – cryptocurrencies are simply becoming more and more popular and it is worth political forces reaching an agreement on this matter. And here the talks between the clubs and the president would make sense – we could talk about a solution that would simply have the green light from the Palace.
From the National Court Register to JSW. There are plenty of other topics
There are issues that have been going on for a long time – for example, the rules for electing members of the National Council of the Judiciary. The Sejm recently passed an amendment on this matter, but there is little chance of it being signed by the president. It is difficult to expect that a meeting with club representatives will solve anything here – although it is probably worth talking about possible compromises, even if they are not visible on the horizon.
The president's talks with clubs should also concern Ukrainians. The Parliament recently adopted an act that extends the legality of stay of Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war until March 4, 2027.
There are also more current issues that may require talks at a “political summit”. This is, for example, the increasingly difficult situation in Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. The company's situation is difficult, and talks between the management board and the social side have recently been broken off. Perhaps JSW's situation requires talks between club representatives and Karol Nawrocki.
