The US sends troops to the vicinity of Iran. “Maintaining Combat Strength”

The announcement of the exercises came a day after President Donald Trump warned that a “beautiful armada” was near Iran and threatened the Iranian regime with possible military action. On Wednesday, Trump repeated that threat, warning that if Iran does not come to the negotiating table, “the next attack will be much worse” than last year's attack by the US Air Force on Iranian nuclear facilities.

According to Trump, the current concentration of US forces in the Middle East is also greater than the American presence on the shores of Venezuela, which ended the usurper rule of Nicolas Maduro there.

According to a statement from CENTCOM in the Middle East, the US Air Force will conduct exercises in several locations in cooperation with countries where US bases are located, probably in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.

“These exercises are intended to demonstrate the ability to deploy, disperse and maintain combat air power throughout the area of responsibility of US Central Command,” General Derek France said on the official website of the US Air Force.

On Wednesday, Iranian authorities responded to these threats by saying they would respond decisively to any attack and that their forces were at the “highest level of defensive readiness, prepared to crush any aggression.”

A day earlier, Tehran ordered the airspace over its most important military base in Jask in the Gulf of Oman to be closed and began maneuvers using live ammunition.
