In Krasnoyarsk, 11 school catering units will be renovated immediately

In Krasnoyarsk, by the beginning of the new academic year, catering units will be put in order in schools No. 8, 81, 137, lyceum No. 11 (building on Bazaraya St., 172) and gymnasium No. 16. This was told in the city hall.

In the catering units, the engineering infrastructure will be completely updated, windows and doors are replaced, as well as modern decoration of the premises. The cooks will receive the latest equipment that will allow you to cook delicious and healthy dishes at the level of modern quality and safety standards. Parocolmates, electric stoves, tests – all this will significantly expand the capabilities of the school menu.

In the gymnasium No. 16, in addition to modernizing the catering unit, the dining room will also be repaired. Students will be able to enjoy delicious dinners in a comfortable and modern environment. The work should be completed by September 1, 2025. The city allocated more than 21 million rubles for the modernization of catering units.

Also, as part of the overhaul of school buildings, catering units of schools No. 42, 45, 53, 82, lyceums No. 2 and No. 11 will be modernized. There will be installed new technological equipment. These works became possible thanks to the federal program “Development of Education”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as a regional subsidy.

“Similar investments in updating school catering units in Soviet buildings have become a city tradition. After all, high -quality repair and modern equipment is a key to delicious and healthy food, and therefore the health of the younger generation, ”said Marina Aksenova, head of the Main Department of Education.

We add that right now in Krasnoyarsk, design estimates are being prepared for overhaul of catering units in four schools No. 44, 63, 91 and 143. For school No. 17-design estimates is already ready. The overhaul of the catering units of these schools is planned to be carried out in the summer of 2026 to minimize the inconvenience for students and teachers.
