A major telecom operator has accelerated mobile Internet for visitors to Krasnoyarsk Funpark “Bobrovy Log”

MegaFon installed new telecom equipment on the territory of the ski resort, which supports VoLTE technology and provides data transfer speeds of up to 60 Mbps. Now even more riders in the Bobrovy Log Funpark can simultaneously go online, post a photo or record a story.

“Bobrovy Log” is located on the right bank of Krasnoyarsk, just a 15-minute drive from the city center. Convenient location and transport accessibility make it popular among sports and outdoor enthusiasts. There are trails of varying difficulty for adults and children, and amateur and professional competitions are regularly held here. During the warm season, the complex does not lose popularity: in summer and in the off-season it is an entertainment area with extreme attractions and hiking routes.

Previously, the fun park was served by a base station located on the lower tier of the ski complex, but due to the terrain, it could not provide full 4G coverage. A new telecom facility operating in the low and medium frequency ranges was installed on the top of the mountain. Thanks to him, stable communication appeared on the slopes and cable car, in cafes, equipment rental areas and administrative premises. Also in the coverage area were the observation decks of the Beaver Log and part of the popular tourist routes in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park.

Mobile Internet at a comfortable speed of 60 Mbit/s will allow visitors to the ski resort to conduct live broadcasts and streams, listen to online music during the descent, call via instant messengers or watch videos about safe snowboarding or skiing, upload “heavy” photo and video content to social networks and share their sporting victories with friends.

MegaFon subscribers have already appreciated the new capabilities of the LTE network. During the New Year holidays, they generated almost 2 TB of online data, which is comparable to the transfer of more than half a million photos.

The construction of a new base station also expanded the service area of ​​VoLTE technology – digital calls over the Internet. It allows you to simultaneously talk on the phone and use the mobile Internet, provides a fast connection and high quality voice transmission.
