Parents of pupils of the Kolokolchik kindergarten in the village of Podgorny, Zheleznogorsk district reported heating problems. According to them, the temperature in the premises drops to +15 °Cand the locker rooms and bedrooms are so cold that it is impossible for children to be without shoes due to the icy floors.
According to Pavel Pugachev, director of the Interregional Center for Children's Rights, the problem with heating in the institution has persisted for several years. The organization sent requests to regional supervisory authorities – Rospotrebnadzor, the regional Ministry of Education, the prosecutor's office and the city administration.
The regional department of the Investigative Committee promptly intervened in the situation. The head of the department, Alexey Eremin, personally held an off-site meeting in Zheleznogorsk with the participation of the head of the city and representatives of the management company. He inspected the premises of kindergartens and demanded that the temperature regime be immediately restored.

According to information from the management company, after complaints from parents, the heating system was balanced and the temperature was brought to normal. However, a criminal case has already been initiated regarding the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
Previously, similar complaints about the cold were received from parents of schoolchildren in Achinskwhere in the classrooms the temperature was recorded from +8 to +14 °C. Later Rospotrebnadzor ordered Achinsk officials to strengthen control for temperature.
