In Krasnoyarsk, drug addicts and alcoholics were treated in unsanitary conditions

January 27 16:55

The prosecutor's office revealed gross violations in the work of a private drug clinic in Krasnoyarsk. We are talking about a medical facility on Lenin Street, 3a.

An inspection by the supervisory agency showed that the quality of treatment at the KRK MED LLC clinic does not meet the requirements. Medicines and medical products with expired expiration dates were found in the treatment rooms – no one removed or disposed of them, and there were no tests to check for alcohol and drugs in the medical institution at all.

The only equipment in the clinic was a tonometer and a hammer. Some of the necessary devices were missing, and some were standing without documents or serviceability checks. Medical records in the institution were poorly maintained: patient records lacked data on medication prescriptions. The clinic premises themselves were in an unsanitary condition.

The prosecutor's office made a representation to the director of the clinic and initiated administrative cases against the organization's employees for violating sanitary and epidemiological requirements (Article 6.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), carrying out activities in gross violation of licensing conditions (Part 4 of Article 14.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and violation of the requirements of technical regulations and product safety (Part 1 of Article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).

Elimination of violations is under the control of the supervisory agency.
