Meteorologists announced that on Sunday, January 25, temperatures are approaching those specific to the period. In some areas of the country it will rain.

According to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), temperatures will rise and be above those specific for the date in most of the country. The sky will be temporarily cloudy during the day in the center and south of the country, but in the rest of the time and territory it will be more cloudy.
It will temporarily rain, generally weak in quantity, in the west, northwest, center and south of the country and in limited areas in the rest, and there will be mixed precipitation in the mountains.
Dust will be deposited on small spaces. The wind will blow weak and moderate, with intensifications in Banat, locally in Crișana and isolated in the other regions, with speeds of 50…70 km/h, and in the high area of the Southern and Western Carpathians the gusts will exceed 80…100 km/h.
The maximum temperatures will be between 0 degrees in the north of Moldova and 15 degrees in the Western Hills, and the minimum temperatures will be between -3 and 8 degrees.
It will be foggy, in some places associated with drizzle, locally in the south, east and center of the territory and isolated in the other areas.
In Bucharest, the temperatures will be above those specific to the date.
The sky will be partly cloudy during the day, but the night will be cloudy and there will be light rain towards the end of the interval.
The wind will blow weak and moderate. The maximum temperature will be around 6 degrees, and the minimum will be 0…2 degrees. There will be foggy conditions in the morning and early part of the night.
The director of the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), Elena Mateescu, said on Saturday, on Digi24, that in the following days, the minimums will remain negative, dropping to -5 degrees Celsius in eastern Transylvania and northern Moldova, and in Bucharest the values will be around 0 degrees. As the warm air mass advances, the minimum temperatures will become slightly positive, around 3-4 degrees.
For the month of February, the head of the ANM warns that genuine winter episodes are not excluded, including snow and temperatures below the freezing point of -10 degrees Celsius. After February 9, the thermal values could gradually return to the normal for the period, but the precipitation will still remain above average, especially in the south of the country.
