Bournemouth beat her on Liverpool in the 23rd stage of the Premier League, 3-2, with the winning goal scored in the 90+5' minute.
Liverpool's unbeaten streak, 13 games in a row without tasting the bitter taste of defeat, ended today.
Against Andoni Iraola's tough team, the champions found themselves trailing by two goals, but had the strength to come back into the game. He forced the winning goal, but only the hosts would score!
Bournemouth led 2-0, Liverpool came back
The scoreboard was altered for the first time in the 26th minute when Alex Scott and Evanilson capitalized on a Van Dijk error.
The Cormorants captain misjudged a cross, missed the clearance and didn't gather quickly enough to Scott to block him. The Englishman returned to line 6, from where Evanilson beat Alisson.
Seven minutes later, Alex Jimenez scored his first goal at Bournemouth and also in the pros. The Real Madrid-raised Spaniard “squirmed” behind Kerkez and “executed” Alisson.
Just before the break, when Liverpool looked groggy, Van Dijk he made up for the mistake from the first goal and equalized, resuming Szoboszlai's cross from the corner with his back rather than his head.
Szoboszlai, again from a free kick
In the second half, the “cormorants” pedaled for a long time in the void. Another set piece would bring the tie, in the 80th minute, when the passer of the first goal, Szoboszlai, scored from a free kick!
He chose the long corner and beat Petrovic. It is the second match in a row in which the Hungarian scores from a free kick, having also scored against Marseille in the Champions League.
In the last quarter of an hour, an avalanche of great opportunities. “Cherries” could have struck in the 84th minute, but Evanilson, in an ideal situation, shot wide!
A minute away, Liverpool responded through Wirtz, but Petrovic stretched superbly and deflected into the corner!
In the last phase, in 90+5', Bournemouth scored Amen Adliafter a carom in the guests' box, a complicated phase after which the “cormorants” rushed to the referee. Their protests had no effect: the goal was validated, and the “cherries” started the celebration!

Liverpool can finish the stage in 8th place if Manchester United, Chelsea, Brentford and Newcastle all win this round. United need just one point against Arsenal at the Emirates to overtake the Cormorants.
