Eight people accused of blowing up the Crimean Bridge will be tried in Rostov.
According to investigators, in 2022, the first deputy of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, gathered eight executors and began organizing a terrorist attack. They made a bomb, disguised it as a construction load and sent it in a truck (the driver did not know about the plan) towards Crimea. When the car was on the bridge, an IED was detonated. The driver of the truck and four people from the car were killed.
Artyom Azatyan, Georgy Azatyan, Oleg Antipov, Alexander Bylin, Vladimir Zloba, Dmitry Tyazhyolykh, Roman Solomko and Artur Terchanyan were sent to a pre-trial detention center. The investigation into Malyuk continues.
