GDP, will support the stable development of the financial sector in 2026 – according to the report “Salaries and trends in enterprises” prepared by Grafton Recruitment. In 2026, the greatest demand will be for specialists combining knowledge of finance and technology.

As the authors of the publication point out, although the demand for employees in the area of ​​finance remained stable in 2025, companies recruited more carefully than in previous years.

Last year, the greatest demand was for independent accountants, as well as financial analysts, controllers and cost specialists. Companies also recruited experts dealing with regulatory issues and risk managers, and at a senior level – financial directors.

According to experts from Grafton Recruitment, increasingly complex legislative requirements, including the growing role of ESG reporting, create a demand for specialists combining competences in the field of finance, regulation and sustainable development.

The report also presents the remuneration levels of representatives of the financial industry. The rates vary depending on the position and the location of the company. In Warsaw, the monthly remuneration of financial directors reaches up to PLN 65,000. PLN grosswhile in Tricity and Kraków the upper limit is 60,000. PLN gross.

In turn, the rates for chief accountants depend mainly on the size of the organization and knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. In Poznań, Tricity and Wrocław, the salary level for this position ranges from PLN 15,000. up to 25 thousand zloty. In turn, the earnings of financial analysts in large agglomerations such as Katowice and Kraków range from PLN 10,000 to PLN 16,000. zloty.

As for the tax and audit departments, – as the report indicates – the best paid are tax managers in Warsaw (PLN 35,000), followed by Kraków, Poznań and Tricity (PLN 30,000). When it comes to tax advisors, rates start from PLN 12,000. PLN and reach a maximum level of PLN 20,000. zloty. Audit project managers in Warsaw can count on high salaries in audit departments, as salaries there range from PLN 20,000 to PLN 30,000. At the other extreme, there are younger auditors whose salaries are much lower; e.g. in Krakow and Katowice the rates start from about PLN 7-8 thousand. PLN and reach up to PLN 10,000.
