Offer for the player booed by the fans in Inter's last match » Cristi Chivu decided the fate of Luis Henrique

Luis Henrique is not transferable! Even though the Brazilian right midfielder was replaced in the first half of the match (6-2) with Pisa, Cristi Chivu defended him, and Inter refused the proposal from Besiktas. The Turks were paying €4m for the loan until the summer, when they were to bid to buy the 24-year-old from Marseille by the Serie A leaders.

Luis Henrique's lackluster form sent Inter fans into a frenzy, booing him when Chivu decided to take him off the field and replace him in the 32nd minute with Federico Dimarco. The latter changed the course of the game and the Nerazzurri returned the score to 3-2 with Pisa by the break!

Chivu: “It's fair for the fans to do what they want, but we have to support Luis Henrique. Boo me, not him!”

“Luis Henrique's change? A game lasts 100 minutes and you can turn it around. You have to do certain things, even if the approach was not bad. We conceded the goal ourselves, but it's my fault because I make certain demands on the goalkeeper. Sometimes it makes things difficult for Yann (no – Sommer)”, Cristi Chivu answered the questions of Italian journalists at the press conference last night.

Replacing Luis Henrique with Dimarco? It's my interpretation of the forward line, the quality of the crosses we had to make when they were defending low. At 0-2, we needed more quality, especially on the left. I'm defending Luis Henrique because he's one of the players we rely on and it's fair to do so for what he's shown, despite the labels and hype around him

Chivu gave a memorable speech in which he asked fans to be more forgiving: “Supporters are influenced by what they read, see and hear. They don't forgive them anything and that's not fair. If a player is struggling, they have to support him. It's right for the fans to do what they want, but we have to support this player.

Players are trying to have a competitive season, but there are ups and downs and we shouldn't boo him at the first mistake. I take responsibility for what Sommer did, because I ask him to never throw the ball.

The responsibility is always mine, you can boo me, but not the players. Thanks to the North Lawn Second Green Ring crowd for chanting for Sommer at the start of the second half. There are people who understand. We have to help them, otherwise it would be very easy.”

5 million offer for the loan of Luis Henrique

Besiktas tried to take advantage of the situation of the Brazilian bought in the summer by Inter de Marseille for 25 million euros, who in 23 matches (15 as a starter) contributed only one goal, with an assist in the game with Como (4-0).

The Turkish press recently wrote about an agreement that the Istanbul team would have established with Luis Henrique and about an offer of 5 million euros for a loan until the end of the season.

What did Inter answer? With Denzel Dumfries out for at least another six weeks following ankle surgery, there is no question of the Brazilian leaving. Cristi Chivu used it consecutively in 14 games from the first minute, so the Serie A leader refused any discussions with the Turks.

The only ongoing discussion to cover the long-term absence of the Dutchman is the return after three and a half years of Ivan Perisic, whom PSV Eindhoven does not want to sell until after the last stage of the single Champions League group.
