Andrei Gheorghiță, the attacking tip of U Cluj, commented on his team's victory over Unirea Slobozia, score 1-0, in a match in stage #23 of the Superliga.
Andrei Gheorghiță scored the winning goal for the hosts. This was his first success after a break of almost a year: the striker last scored in February 2025, when he was playing for FCSB, in a match against PAOK, score 2-1 for the Romanian champions.
Since then, Gheorghiță has battled several injuries and is now fighting for a starting position in Bergodi's team, given that Jovo Lukic, the competitor for the position, is the championship's top scorer, but is currently injured.
Andrei Gheorghiță announced that the “red caps” want to be in the play-offs, and even more so in the European cups. At the moment, Bergodi's team is in 6th place, but could fall below the top 6 line by the end of the stage.
