A transgender man who accused JK Rowling of inciting hatred was sentenced to 6.5 years for raping a drunken friend.
On the Internet, 35-year-old Briton Alexander Secker was known under the pseudonym Lexie Bowen. On social networks, he did typical things for a transgender activist: for example, he criticized the horror films “Psycho” and “The Silence of the Lambs” for inciting hatred against “trans people” and was discriminated against due to transphobia in the culture.
Most of all, he was known for his accusations against JK Rowling – “Lexi” reproached the writer for transphobia and spreading hatred.
This week it became known that Secker was sentenced to 6.5 years for rape allegedly committed in 2021. The victim, a friend of the activist, accused him of taking advantage of her helpless state when they were drinking alcohol.
The accused insisted that the sex was consensual, but the prosecution's arguments prevailed.
