The slippages from Realitatea Plus, fined by CNA: alarmist headlines and accusations of assassinations
The National Broadcasting Council (CNA) imposed several fines on the Realitatea Plus station because the shows broadcast in October 2025 violated the principles of balance and impartiality, but also because of some titles.

According to CNA, two large fines were given, one proposed by Mircea Toma, member of CNA, of 100,000 lei, and the second came at the proposal of Dorina Rusu, of 30,000 lei. The sanctions were voted by the majority of the members present, with the exception of the two appointed by the PSD in the CNA, Georgica Severin and Monica Gubernat, writes Pagina de Media.
“I have looked at the shows that I have retained from the many that I have watched and the common vice that I identify is the violation of the principle of balance and impartiality. Nothing that happens in these shows ensures impartiality, on the contrary.
It's about a choir aligned ideologically or value-wise in the fight against an adversary that is all that means government, the state, any other political social or cultural entity that does not align with the principles assumed by the sovereignists. I'm talking about political programs here, not TV shows. (…)
There is no alternative point of view. It is a fundamental and very serious vice from my point of view. A vice that produces disruptions in the social and political life of the country”, emphasized Mircea Toma.
How the fines were distributed:
The fine of 100,000 lei was for the shows:
- “Behind the scenes of the parallel state” (editions of 09, 15, 20 and 26.10.2025),
- “100%” (10 and 21.10.2025),
- “Daily Report” (20.10.2025),
- “Prime Time News” (10/21/2025),
- “Plus Matinal” (21.10.2025),
- “Daytime News”
- “Fight for Romania” (23.10.2025), during the broadcast of which the provisions of art. 84 para. (1) and, as the case may be, those of art. 43 para. (5);
A fine of 30,000 lei was voted for the shows “Behind the scenes of the parallel state” from 23 and 27.10.2025 and for the edition from 22.10.2025 of the show “100%”.
Among the titles displayed: “Chief of the General Staff: Romanians from the diaspora will defend the country”; “Hallucinating statements, diaspora taken by force in the army” (“Backstage of the parallel state” from 23.10.2025).
Affirmations of the guest: “In prisons in Romania, assassination is one of the techniques used by the Romanian Intelligence Service (…) It was a period with many assassinations, some of them we don't know about, others we know about, others were assassination attempts and this team Coldea, Kovesi and the whole system they created resorted to assassinations in prisons” (“Backstage of the parallel state” from 27.10.2025).
“It is a case of villainy taken to the extreme by the President of Romania and the Prime Minister who, at this moment, have taken it upon themselves to cover the culprit Distrigaz, whose main shareholder is the French state, so to save the French state from responsibility” (100% from 22.10.2025).
