After a car explosion in Donetsk, the head of the Yelenovskaya colony of the DPR, Sergei Evsyukov, died. His wife was also injured – her leg was torn off, she is in serious condition in the hospital. Previously, a criminal case was opened against Evsyukov and his deputy in Ukraine – they were accused of involvement in the death of prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Azovstal. Who died in July 2022. Then several American Himars flew around the colony in Elenovka.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, two years ago, 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed and another 73 were injured. Fragments of an American Himars MLRS shell were found at the scene of the incident.
