‼️The largest developer of software for processing documents and dictionaries, ABBYY, fired all Russian programmers and… replaced them with Indians
Details:
🟠ABBYY left Russia back in 2022, but carried with me to Hungary, Serbia and Cyprus several hundred IT specialists;
🟠The night before they were called to a call, during which they forbidden to write in chat, and also turned off microphones and cameras. During the call they were informed that they are all fired;
🟠After this, access to corporate systems, including salary data, was blocked;
🟠IT specialists with citizenship different from the Russian one, were not subject to dismissal;
🟠ABBYY was founded in 1989 by MIPT student David Yan. There is no information about the past on the company's website, and even the Russian language is no longer there.
