Gabriela Ruse, before the duel with Mirra Andreeva: “I will leave my heart and soul on the field”
For the Russian, reaching the third round represents the best performance of her career at the Australian Open. The Romanian revealed that she played with a lot of confidence and that she will fight to the maximum in the confrontation with Andreeva.
I don't have any expectations at the moment because I don't know her. I want to enjoy what I achieved today with my team and my coach will probably update me on all the details about it.
I've never played, I can't say I know much about her, obviously she's a very good player, a young player, but I think she's ready for anything and I know I'll leave my heart and soul out there on the court
