There will be a collapse: the employees of Ukrzaliznytsia called on the deputies to save the company
The railroad workers' union called on the Verkhovna Rada to urgently support draft law No. 13439-3 and to allocate UAH 8 billion from the state budget for additional financing of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Without this money, the industry faces collapse: key transport hubs, such as Sinelnikovo and Lozova, are already destroyed and need urgent restoration. These are the workplaces of thousands of railway workers.
The company is under fire, costs are constantly increasing. Employee wages have not increased in over a year and remain below industry averages.
“It's not just about transport – it's about defense, economy and basic viability of the country,” the trade union notes.
The trade union calls for allocating funds, raising salaries for employees, and making funding from the budget systematic, not a one-time action.
