FCSB solved the problem with the defender Andre Duarte (28 years old), the new transfer of the team, who was not in the squad for the match with FC Argeș (0-1), because he had not received the green card from Ujpest, his former club. Mihai Stoica, president of the board of directors of the champion, he had announced during the day on Monday that the situation will be resolved this week, and the official announcement came today.
The club announced through a statement on social networks that the situation has been resolved, so that Duarte will be in the squad for the match against CFR Cluj in the Superliga, scheduled for Sunday, January 25, from 20:00.
Andre Duarte was added to the list of players for the matches in the Super League and the Romanian Cup
Andre Duarte, one of the transfers made by FCSB this winter break, could not perform in the first official match of the year because he had not received the green card from Ujpest, his former club. The champion team announced through a message posted on social networks that the problem has been resolved, so the defender is expected to be on the field for the match between FCSB and CFR Cluj, scheduled for January 25, from 20:00.
“Andre Duarte was officially added to the list of eligible players for the Superliga and Romanian Cup games.
He will have the right to play for the Romanian Champions starting with the next match in the championship, which FCSB will play on Sunday, at the National Arena, against those from CFR Cluj”, says the post on the team's official account.

Despite being eligible for the Superliga and Romanian Cup matches, Duarte will not be part of the champions' squad for the last two Europa League matches (Dinamo Zagreb on January 22, Fenerbahce on January 29)
Andre Duarte signed free of contract with FCSB, after the scandalous parting with the Hungarians from Ujpest. The Portuguese unilaterally denounced the contract, because he was sent to train with the second team. The Hungarian team sued Duarte.
The Hungarians also made it difficult for the stopper to register at FCSB, with the Hungarian Federation refusing to give him the green card he needs to play in Romania.
