On the morning of January 20, in the village of Bely Yar, Achinsk District, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a fire occurred in a boiler room.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire area was 280 square meters.
6 units of equipment and 20 firefighters worked at the scene. Extinguishing was complicated by low air temperature – about −29 °C.

“The fire has now been completely extinguished. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire will have to be determined by the investigator,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The head of the Achinsk district reported on his social networks that he immediately went to the scene of the incident and organized an operational headquarters, where specialists assessed the situation and determined priority actions.
“Boiler room equipment managed to be preserved, there is no threat to its further work. However, 17 houses, a school, a kindergarten and a first aid station are temporarily left without heating… I set the task of making sure that the boiler room is working before 16:00 today. All necessary materials have already been purchased, specialists have begun repairs. A temporary accommodation center with hot meals in Zertsaly has been prepared for residents in case of unforeseen situations,” said Igor Titenkov.
