A full-fledged operation to rescue a family of four stranded killer whales has unfolded in Kamchatka.
This morning three adult sea animals ran aground, with one small one swimming next to them. About 30 people came to the aid of the killer whales – they began to water the mammals and try to turn them over.
As a result, the killer whales were successfully rescued. All 4 whales swam out to sea, they were escorted on several boats to a decent depth to make sure that they were absolutely safe.
The rescue operation lasted 10 hours.
