The Romanian Gendarmerie published on Sunday a video recorded on the Postăvaru Massif, with the intervention of a mountain gendarmerie in the case of two tourists who could no longer go down the slope, being dressed inappropriately for the conditions on the mountain.
“The ski slope is not a fashion catwalk. The images captured yesterday, in the Postăvaru Massif, show how important proper equipment is, which makes the difference between fun and danger,” the Romanian Gendarmerie said on its Facebook page.
The images captured at the scene and published by the gendarmes show how the woman was dressed in a skirt and coat.
“With the help of a mountain gendarmerie, the two tourists who were walking on the slope, inadequately equipped, were brought down safely to the gondola, avoiding incidents for both them and the skiers on the way down,” the Gendarmerie stated.
